Field of Gold

Honestly,  this looked far better in real life than the photo, which is as unexciting as they come unfortunately.  Anyway,  today we drove out in search of snow, but it was a little further away than we expected it to be,  so we stopped off at the Meiklour Arms for a spot of dinner instead. Meiklour is a tiny little village in Perthshire Scotland, 'famous' for having the tallest Beech Hedges in the world ( Really,  the hedges are a straight row of beech trees planted too close together - but who am I to argue?)
