At the Skate Board Park

Grand-daughter and I went early to the estuary for a walk and so she could take photos. We saw the usual birds, plus spoonbills which unfortunately flew off just before we got close enough.

I delivered her home and picked up grandson who wanted to show me  what he can do on his scooter at the skate board park. He worked so hard demonstrating these in the hot sun that I thought by his red face, he might explode any moment. There is certainly a lot of energy expended in performing tricks and my heart was in my mouth a few times. Fortunately I got him home with no skin off.

I rather liked the build up of clouds behind him.
