Black Turnstone

It was approaching a very high tide this morning when I spotted this little guy. Never saw him before at the beach and didn’t see any of his family or friends around. I was able to identify him with the help of an online Audubon bird ID site (http://birds.audubon.org/birds/black-turnstone).
