Courage Journal Quilt

I wasn't sure if I was going to make Journal Quilts this year but the challenge of the Contemporary Quilt Group proved irresistible. The requirement for their challenge was that the quilts had to be sized 6 x 12" and we could chose our own orientation. All mine will be landscape based. This was a good match for my already existing plan to make quilts based on words and for my first word I've selected my word for the year: Courage.
