County of Bucks 1884

Another bridge crossing the Bear Brook this time it is crossed by the High Street. There is some fancy brickwork & a stone plaque reading "County of Bucks 1884". Incredible to think that these arches have stood 130 years during which time the mode of transport has changed from carts to HGVs.

Not such a pretty winter's day today, much more dull & grey.

Sorted lots of stuff for the charity shop today, so will take a car load tomorrow. I don't know why we keep so many things we'll never use & clothes we'll never wear. Remedied today.

Cold day - will go with Carol to see Daph who is progressing gradually
