Spirit in the Sky ...

... is the name of this whimsical wire sculpture which is suspended on a swing from a tree in the grounds of St Mary's Cathedral. I pass him/her every day I walk to the office from the train. S/he's been here for ages and there used to be a tiny sign with the artist's name but it's gone now and I'm afraid I can't remember it. It was barely light when I got to Edinburgh this morning as a result of catching an earlier than usual train.

It was a busy but interesting day. I learned about a new project at work on Open Educational Practices @OEPScotland which made for a productive lunchtime.
