Photographica

As a confirmed camera-head who shoots mainly in digital, I still love film cameras for their exquisite quality and tactile feel. Photographica and other camera fairs have a strong pull on me and I always enjoy seeing the vast arrays of old equipment on offer. I usually resist temptation but they can be a source for unusual accessories and specialist materials. This year I managed to pick up a few rolls of 127 film for a friend; this was the total stock on offer! I resisted some nice lenses and darkroom items but it was a close call.
My blip shows the extent of the fair and that it was well attended, but I noticed the age spectrum was distinctly biased upwards save some younger people who've discovered the joys of using film; possibly they have to use film as part of their photography course. Anyway, a fun day out with four similarly minded friends.
