Leanachan Forest Dog Walk

I hope our repeated visits to this area with the dogs aren't perceived as a lack of imagination or adventure on our part. The forest extends from the Fort William out skirts to Spean Bridge and must have an area of close to 50 sq km. It has dozens of entry points and an infinite combination of walk or cycle routes. An entire farm is enclosed within its footprint and there is a large boggy wet land with a couple of attractive Lochans too. Even this wet land is so large that you feel the Lake District could be lost in it. Despite this you will walk here all day and not see another soul.
Anyway the day has continued to improve and brightened noticeably during our walk this morning. Mhairi has Bruce on the lead at this point as poachers have carelessly disposed of the remains of deer here and if he gets a whiff can be seriously distracted.
