Nanny nonsense

This is on Cow's Lane, which links Lord Edward Street to Essex Street. Anyone with eyes in their head can see that Cow's Lane slopes down to Essex Street, and there's a series of steps to account for this. But stupid Health & Safety and Nonsensical Nannyness dictates that people's eyes aren't to be trusted and each step has to outlined and labelled in yellow.

It's hideous. It's ugly. But it's typical. Of course, I blame it all on the litigious attitude which has crept in from across the Atlantic.

Once again, White Blipfoto has made a mess of the colour, adding a very obvious green cast. Compare this with the same photo as uploaded to Flickr. Is this a Blipfoto problem, or am I doing something wrong?
