Marmalade from beginning to end

Yesterday I decided it was finally time to make some marmalade from the Seville oranges which had been in the freezer for a year.  They defrosted overnight and then I began the preparation process at 8.30 this morning.  I finished at 3.30 this afternoon.  What a wearisome procedure it is, although the result is delicious.
The jam-maker we invested in a few years ago has proved its' worth when there are kilos and kilos of soft fruit, all ripe at the same time, to convert into jam.

Still no news about Flora.  I phoned the Aberaeron council offices to check whether any dead cats had been found, but was relieved that the answer was negative.
