Early bird

This speckled Mousebird was one of many sitting in the tree this morning when I went onto our upstairs patio. Their bird restaurant is in this tree and I love how they wait for their daily treat (some people I know don't agree with feeding wild birds...)
These birds are fruit-eating -a breakfast of strawberries and bananas was their treat today!
I love the way this one is sitting, which is a common way for these birds - the left foot is easily visible, and the right one is just visible as he does the splits between two branches. See if you can spot it!
