love the storm

I have a ring made by a Navajo jeweller. She made it with two repeating patterns, lightening bolts and crashing surf, representing storms and the Navajo's belief that storms were great - not while they were happening - but afterwards when they cleared and your crops were watered.

I like storms in the midst of them as well as when they clear. Always beautiful moments there somewhere.
