Coffee Mugs

A dull, milder but drizzly day.

A rather different blip from me today. The morning was spent mentoring two Ugandan Pastors via Skype. One of them, to get a wifi Connection, had to go outside the church he was visiting and sat under a tree. Since it wasn't a great connection we will try again at teatime - although, with a three hour time difference it will be mid evening for him.

In the afternoon, we had a visit from a Wine salesman, who brought a set of coffee mugs which had been offered as a tempter to fill in the application form. Basically, it was a tasting session, with no pressure to buy. The chap was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the excellent wines we tasted. We didn't buy anything but we learned quite a bit about wines. An enjoyable hour and the coffee mugs are excellent.

I am looking forward to this evening when Manchester United play an FA Cup game, shown live on the BBC. Why did I ever think I wouldn't enjoy retirement?
