Must be Friday again. Once everything fed left the men to muck and bed the cattle while I took the water pump to get fixed. Dropped it off at the sprayer place at Haddington. Would have loved time for a nosy round the yard as it was an Aladdin's cave of old sprayers and machines.
Another tractor with a puncture so got it fixed as well. Filled up the jerry cans and Landrover on the way back. Oil may be cheaper but it still came to £125 !
This poster was hanging on the wall at Redpath Tyres.I love these old type posters. My Dad had one of these vans in the 60's  in the days before we had  Land Rovers. The first contractor who did silage for us had one too. It used to cart all the men and as many cans of diesel as they could fit in between them all in the back.You would get the jail if you did that now!
