Well Handled

Still not feeling creative so I’ve opted to share another view of lovely furniture. 
This is an example of a handle on a drawer of the writing bureau that we also inherited from Mrs W’s grandmother. The photo gives a bit of a clue as to why this type of fancy design is not as prevalent in modern furniture as it is really difficult to get into the edges to keep it clean and polished: in fact this looks like a build-up of polish residue.
At least the entire house is not furnished by Ikea.
