Sugar Coated

The early morning frost after the coldest night of the year so far was too good to miss so up before dawn to visit the Briddlesford Oak Trees where the whole field had acquired a sugary coating of frost.

Just one dog walker and myself shared the cold but magical experience as the sun rising sun gradually lit up the scene.

If we can't have a fall of snow then this must surely be the next best thing.

Probably best seen large against the black background.
