Glasgow Winter Gardens

Miss Flum had a large item to collect from Glasgow so we three drove through. Business completed, despite the rain she showed us round Glasgow Green and the People's Palace, where we lunched in the Winter Gardens café.

 Outside on the green a flock of redwings grazed with as many starlings and a pair of song thrushes sat watching. By the Clyde a mixed flock of geese objected to each other as much as my red umbrella .

On the way home we sought out the ruins of Woodilee Hospital as a blip opportunity but what remains is the renovated clock tower dominated by the housing developer's advertising flags. It is surrounded by acres of modern housing, so the site has been used to full advantage.
