Laratinga

Laratinga is a very well known wetlands in South Australia, and the Rower and I go there often.  Some days are ordinary, some days are good, and some days are brilliant.

Today was one of the brilliant kind.

This is a white plumed honey eater, who came down for a drink of water.  There are plenty of them around but they are generally in the tree tops hiding in the foliage.  It's not often you can get this close.

By the way, is it only me, or does anyone else get really irritated with the current map?  I don't very often bother with it these days. It pisses me off annoys me so much.
