Blue Tit

It's that time of year again ...... RSPB Garden Bird watch.

Started out as normal ....... loads of birds in the garden until we decided to start the bird watch and then everything immediately fled ( it was as though an alarm had gone off telling all the birds to leave !!).

Nothing for the first 15 minutes then the odd blackbird and dunnock until 45 minutes in when a flock of mixed finches landed in our tree (goldfinch, greenfinch, bullfinch).

Great opportunity to do a bird blip and as it's my 50th consecutive blip today I was very pleased to get this blue tit shot.
