St Marks

This has got to be one of the most recognisable buildings in the world! The roof of St. Marks Church, in the old town area of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, must be unique. It stands in it's own square, surrounded by old buildings that now house the Parliament, the residence of the Prime Minster etc. Considering the status of the local inhabitants, the security was very inconspicuous, as were the crowds. I guess it is a bit busier at the height of summer.
