Sunset looking towards Lyme Regis

A beautiful sunny day which we spent walking with friends just outside Charmouth.  We were rambling up and down various hills with glorious views of the countryside and sea.  We also passed through Whitchurch Canonicorum and visited the Church of St Candida & Holy Cross which is  over a 1000 years old.  The church is the only Parish Church in England to have a shrine with the relics of a Saint, St Wite and has been a centre of pilgrimage for centuries, as she is known as a healing Saint.  We then returned past St Wite's well where the water is said to have healing powers especially for the eyes.

A great day which ended up watching the sun set over the sea from Chardown Hill.  I however preferred this photo to the sunsets.  I changed my mind and posted the sunset!
