Quod oculus meus videt

By GrahamColling

Clayhanger (without sun)

I'd have lost my bet (with myself).  As I looked above me and saw not a single cloud within my range of vision, I felt confident that I would see the sun rise.  Within 15 minutes these clouds had slid across the sky, blocking the sun in the east.  They did allow some variation in lighting, which has provided this radiating effect, but I was gobsmacked not to get even the briefest show of sunlight for over an hour after sunrise.
