Busy day

I couldn't decide which pictures to use today, I haven't taken so many in ages.

The demand for paintinf started as soon as he finished breakfast. He thought I wasn't watching and started painting his hands!

We got dressed and went out to Beacon Hill for a walk round - they have a "nature" playground with a little maze, things to walk along and a train all made from fallen trees. There are lots of little wigwam type shelters made from branches too - we pretended we were the mouse from the gruffalo walking through the wood. I had brought him a pcked lunch which bizarrely he found really exciting!

After about an hour we were cold so popped to Costco for catfood and Henry enjoyed eating samples as we went round. Last time he decided he liked scallops - expensive taste!

We tried to go swimming but the session was full and it was 40 minutes until the next one started. There was a minor tantrum but we went home, unloaded the car and played with trains for 20 mins then went swimming.

The last 2 hours have been spent having a long bath, having tea and trying to stretch out bedtime for a very tired little boy.
