Playfair Steps

I went into town to buy a birthday present for my mum's 82nd birthday. After I'd finished my shopping I made my way from Princes Street to the High Street to meet a friend for lunch.

I was going to walk up the Mound but decided to walk up the Playfair Steps instead. I'm pleased to say that the new leaner, fitter me was able to walk up quite briskly. Last year at this time I'd have struggled.
