Testing the Ice

After some sledging at Glen More, we stopped by Loch Morlich for a walk. It took ages to persuade Jack to get out of the car and join us, and then, of course, we couldn't persuade him back again once he had discovered the cracking ice on the shore.   Taking after his dad, who is the middle person in this photo in roughly the same place in May 1966.
