. . . for the 1000 runners to put in an appearance!
This was the Marwell Zoo 10K charity run and these were the two marshals at our checkpoint half way round the course. We were also accompanied by two St. John's ambulance guys. Our role was providing communications via our radio in the car (nice and warm) and proved to be quite essential as there was no mobile phone reception! All went without a hitch and the rain managed to stay off but it was bitterly cold - took several photos of the runners but preferred this one showing the relaxed attitude of the marshals!
