Fast food NZ style

Kaikoura (kai in Maori means food and a koura is a crayfish) is a rather nondescript little town famous for its sea food. The continental shelf drops dramatically just off shore into a canyon of 2.5 kilometres meaning that there is an abundance of food for all fish.
Tonight we drove out to a seafood cart for supper. 4 fillets of fish, scallops, crayfish, pauas (abalone), green lipped mussels & whitebait grilled whilst we wait all for £25!! We sat in plastic chairs next to the sea and feasted.
