Carmargue flamingos

I'd been looking forward so much to visiting the Carmargue but I only stayed one night as, despite the jungle strength repellant, I got very badly bitten. Not sure whether it was mozzies or horseflies but wasn't going to wait around to find out. That's the joy of the MoHo; problem? Move on!!
Maybe a different time of year will help if I attempt to explore this beautiful region again.
