Power to the people

The people's monument in the town centre marks the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of Crawley new town.
This is the central stone, with carved autographs commemorating the fact that Liz 'n' Phil woz 'ere in 2006, unveiling the monument.
It scrubs up nicely with a drop of rain.
