A Few Photos More... by Fabrizio Gianni

I had a meeting today to talk about writing the words for a catalogue to accompany a photography exhibition which is coming to Falkirk's Park Gallery in May.
The subject of the exhibition is Fabrizio Gianni, a legend in the world of fashion photography, who has worked with the likes of Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue (English, French, Italian...) and Vivienne Westwood, to name but a few of his illustrious clients.
Fabrizio was born in Rome and is married to former model, Gail Inglis, whom he met in Milan during a photoshoot in the 1970s.
Gail is from Falkirk and the couple settled there many years ago.
Fabrizio began his career in films, working with directors such as Luchino Visconti and Roberto Rossellini. He moved to Hollywood, where he was assistant director to Sergio Leone on The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Legend has it he was the creative brain behind Clint Eastwood’s poncho-wearing, cigar-chewing gunman hero in the 1965 film,  A Few Dollars More in 1965.
Can't wait to meet him!
