Shenzhen

We left HK after breakfast and drove through the New Territories into The People's Republic of China. ( Hong Kong is also under Chinese ownership, once more, but the handover process has been given a long lead time. Those who know HK well say that the pace of that change back to PRC is happening surprisingly quickly.)
Our work continued in Shenzhen for the rest of the day and continued to go very well.
Opposite our hotel there was an amusement park called The Window on the World and it recreated some of the globes famous landmarks. Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge were all there but not as prominent as this Eiffel Tower seen through L'Arc de Triomphe!

The rationale behind this park was to let Chinese people see the world without having to leave the PRC.
