I have this shadow box full if tiny things that I love. The thimble is from Selby Abby (in Selby near York) which we bought when we were there in 1999. My husband's last name is Selby so we had a lot of fun wondering about distant relations. (The first known mayor of York was Hugh Selby who made his money on trade.,, wool and wine)
