a late bloomer...

when i arrived back - home after visiting my mama

this is from a christmas cactus - i have had for several years - it has never bloomed - i have never known why - these plants always mystify me - why some bloom - while others don't - everybody has their own theories as - to why that is - not enough light - keep them in closets - don't water during summer months - on and on -  i figure they simply - get picky and will - do whatever they - want to whenever - they want every year - deciding themselves - if they want to - produce blooms for you - if they do, then - sit back, enjoy and call it...
