Diamond Celebration - Johnny Beattie

A late return and a late Blip tonight after being at the celebration of entertainer, actor and comedian Johnny Beattie's anniversary of 60 years in showbusiness.

The Venue was the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow.

It took the form of variety show with top guests and performers, mostly in person, but a few like Billy Connolly and Sir Alex Ferguson were via video.

I particularly enjoyed seeing Alan Cumming as one of my favourite dramas on TV is The Good Wife.

But special mention goes to the man himself Johnny Beattie who has done so much for charity over so many years.
