At the Allotment Stores

I answered a call for help today. Supplies were being delivered to the allotment and had to be unloaded. 6 pallets (6 tons in weight) of various composts had to be taken off the lorry and put into the stores. This picture shows Ed, who is our Chair and Tina who is in charge of the stores. Ed and Tina also have a prize- winning plot. Sadly, one of the other stalwarts, Michael, who was the Treasurer amongst other things, has recently died, and Ed has also assumed the position of temporary treasurer. After the work was over, Ed and Tina were happy to have their picture taken, even though Tina is still showing the effects of recent surgery..
