28 Pairs of white school socks

3 kids all with white socks for school is very tricky. Last year, I wrote their initials on the socks to try to differentiate between the near identical objects, but they faded and there was some very creative pairing done by the (poorly trained) laundry sorters.
This year, I have sewn green As on 18 socks, 10 bright pink Cs (so far) and just 2 blue Es. School starts tomorrow, so I shall need to complete the project over the weekend. If I can just stay awake. ..
