1939 (?) Indian Chief

Spent the afternoon at the 16th Annual Sky Valley Antique and Classic Motorcycle Show in Snohomish, Washington.

They were hoping for 10,000 bikes but constant rain probably kept some people away. The turnout was decent, and I got a few good photos, my favorite of which is above. I believe it's a 1939 Indian Chief based upon the 4-cylinder engine that runs centerline with the bike. I suspect a '39 based upon this excellent video of one actually running.

The chief knob sits atop a suicide shift lever, which was located on the right side of this bike. That's a rarity and must have been personalized for someone.
