SEVILLE ORANGES

This morning S. opened the door to the postman who was actually delivering a parcel addressed to me. This is abnormally wonderful!

Normally they don't bother to take parcels out of the depot - they just slip a prepared note saying, "Attempted delivery - nobody home!" If you happen to catch them at it all you get is a smug shrug & a grin.

Means you have to wait for your number to come up for 40 minutes or more at the Post Office amongst a hundred disgruntled punters while the reception clerks disappear to take extended pee-breaks, tea breaks... f*** you breaks?

Not today - hooray! The parcel contained 16 Seville Oranges from my lovely cousin, Mouse. Means I'll be making Mouse marmalade this weekend - the house is going to smell glorious - yay!!
