Lake Patzcuaro Fishermen

We wanted to show our daughter something new seeing as how she has been to Patzcuaro before, so we decided to take her to Janitzio, a photogenic island in the middle of Lake Patzcuaro. On the way, we were entertained by traditional fishermen. They put on a short show of how the lake fishermen have worked for generations (though I understand the lake is now too polluted for real fishing to take place). It takes some real skill to be able to stand in those unstable crafts, while holding the big net that I'm sure once contained thousands of small fish.
