the forth craw

I like the Scottish name for crow - craw. Its sounds more like how they call.
Three craws is a Scottish song I like - I have pasted the lyrics at the end of the blip.

Further to last nights blip, we had a bit of snow, a sprinkling, enough to give a dusting.

At 10:22am when I photographed the craws it must have been still frosty, the temperature has gone up now at lunchtime.

Lovely light then. I was hoping the craws would align as a triangle shape. But it works well. The diagonals of the shadows against the diagonal line of the craws.

Craws and snow seem to go together too, and as the lyrics say - on a cold and frosty morning.

Just reading the lines works well too -
The fourth craw he wisnae there at a'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three craws sat upon the wa',
Sat upon the wa', sat upon the wa'
Three craws sat upon the wa'
On a cold and frosty morning.

The first craw he's calling for his maw
He's calling for his maw, he's calling for his maw
The first craw he's calling for his maw
On a cold and frosty morning.

The second craw fell and skinned his jaw
Fell and skinned his jaw, fell and skinned his jaw
The second craw fell and skinned his jaw
On a cold and frosty morning.

The third craw had no shirt at a'
Had no shirt at a', had no shirt at a'
The third craw had no shirt at a'
On a cold and frosty morning.

The fourth craw he wisnae there at a'
Wisnae there at a', wisnae there at a'
The fourth craw he wisnae there at a'
On a cold and frosty morning.

And that's a', I ken aboot the craws.
I ken aboot the craws, I ken aboot the craws.
And that's a', I ken aboot the craws.
On a cold and frosty morning.
