Sunshine and snow

There was an inch or so of snow overnight, but it was melting in the sun by the time I was heading to work at 12pm. Just time for some photos of the loch near our house. 

Michael was due to come back from the mainland today, but is stuck in Manchester because of all the snow down there; he spent a few hours at the airport, then went back to the hotel he'd come from. Hopefully he'll get home tomorrow. After work, what remained of the snow had frozen as the temperature dropped. I slipped on a patch of black ice and gave my knee a bang. I'll have a bruise tomorrow!
