The hawk is back!

The hawk I blipped a couple of days ago was back this morning. It seems like it has claimed a territory  in the small forest northeast of my village. It had taken position in the same birch tree as the last time. I could really not resist to take a photo of it again. I watched it for several minutes, until it flew away. I tried to catch it in the flight, but that is extremely difficult. The name for this species is sharp-shinned hawk, but I have noticed that here the common name is sparrow hawk. But the real sparrow hawk is only found in the old world. It is slightly bigger than the sharp-shinned hawk, which is the smallest hawk in the US and Canada. You see that I have read up!
