Em has a birthday party to attend on Sunday so this morning we shopped for a card for her little friend. Whilst out and about we were treated to clear blue skies and bright sunshine. The light and shadows cast all manner of patterns in the narrow weints. The sunlight was with us long enough for me to bask on the porch back home as Em whizzed about the front garden with her doll's pushchair. Unexpected but welcome.
