Balance

Always wishing to find it.
On the one hand , the need for company and friendship and on the other the need to go deeper and have time to write , read and be silent.
The need to give what I can to work and the need to have time to share with loved ones.

And so the list goes on.

Today my childhood friend popped her head round my kitchen door . She lives 100 miles away but was passing. It was lovely to see her !
There was some work, a trip into town to meet with a friend and now some cooking as we move into evening mode.

I think this was quite a balanced day .

These are our first snowdrops .
