We remember.

50 years ago today was the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill.

These books belonged to my father.
I can remember how thrilled he was as each volume was published, and delivered to him by post.
The first one "The Gathering Storm" came out in 1948 when I was only four years old. The last one " Triumph and Tragedy" published in 1953.

Churchill labelled the " Moral of the Work" as follows:

In War : Resolution.
In Defeat : Defiance.
In Victory : Magnanimity.
In Peace : Goodwill.

Today we remember this great man.
