Most southerly point on NZ South island

A picture of the most southerly point on the New Zealand mainland. If anyone tells you this shot should be of "Stirling Point" South of Invercargill...tell them to consult a map.

I'm sure the views from Slope Point are lovely...when the weather is sunny. When the wind is blowing and making the rain come in horizontally it's an "experience". It reminded me of a windy, rainy day on Lands End in the UK.

Great walk all the same - loved it.
