It's been two years since my last blip. I should probably reflect on the mercurial nature of time, how, looking at the few photos I posted, it seems like both forever ago and just yesterday. There isn't any distinct trajectory to the age of the memory, I don't think 'That feels like 24 months ago' but rather the memories they evoke are stored in a folder of my brain I've carelessly labeled Recent Past.

Anyway, here's Alex. We went for a beer the other night on a boat in Vauxhall and, despite the moodiness this photo might suggest, we had a good time, it passed and I've stored it in some folder or other in my brain.
