Showcase!

The Braehead Juniors played a series of showcase games across ice tonight during the 1st and 2nd period interval. Mimi is really growing into her new role and was throwing herself around the ice like a pro. The Hull net minder came across to her and gave her the net minders equivalent of a high five as he hit her pads with his stick... she was thrilled to be recognized as one of the crazy guys!!! The 3000 plus crowd were very generous with their applause for the kids efforts, nice to see.

As for me... well I picked up a hand injury to my right hand which saw me miss a lot of the game as I was seen by the medical staff, My hand burst open and maybe a fracture to the trapezium which I am advised is very rare and going to hurt :-(
