Walk on the Moor

We joined the walking group today for a short (6 miles) walk round the moor. 11 turned out so that was quite good considering the biting wind. However it was just glorious to be out in the sun, and the company was good. Jane led the walk and Rik is cooking the main course for the pooled supper tonight. I have made a very wicked Nigella Italian Cake using layers of panetone, then with Marsala, mascarpone, cream, on the layers and decorated with choc chips, pistachios and pomegranate. maybe I should have kept my blip for it, but I could do one tomorrow of the leftovers. Instead here's Nell bounding along with her stick.
