The centre of science

The Glasgow Science Centre sits next to the river Clyde and adjacent to the BBC Scotland HQ and although I have posted many blips from around this spot I don't think I have ever taken a picture from this side of the science centre.

The tower is the tallest fully rotating structure in the world and is well worth a visit. However it is closed at the moment for winter but will re-open in Spring 2015. The tower has not had its troubles to seek and has been closed more than it has been open due to being dogged with technical problems. I did manage to get to the top of the tower on one of the days it was open a few years ago and it was definitely worth the trip.
